Inspired by Cirque du Soleil, Zera decided at 18 to pursue a career in makeup. After finishing up her makeup course in Dubai and gaining a few years of practical experience in the field, she decided to advance her skills in Vancouver, Canada. Her story involves unexpected turns, fueled by passion and a talent for bringing characters to life on screen, shaping a captivating journey in the world of makeup artistry.
Zera's unexpected entry into the world of feature films at the age of 24 set the stage for her career. Initially meant to assist on a film project, she ended up taking on the role of head of makeup, discovering her passion for feature films in the process.
Since her fortuitous entry into the film industry, Zera has worked on productions in the UAE, Pakistan, Cyprus, and Lebanon. With a knack for adapting to various genres, she has served as a makeup designer for comedy, horror, drama, science fiction and action films.
Her experience extends to crowd supervision on international projects, including notable films like Dune, Star Trek, Fast and Furious, Mission impossible, and 6 Underground. Zera's ability to navigate both as a makeup designer and as a crowd supervisor on large-scale International productions has gained her recognition in the film community.
