Rawia Abdullah is an Emirati director who has written, produced, and directed award-winning short films independently. Her short film "Amal's Cloud" won Best Short Film and Best Actress at the Gulf Film Festival 2009, and her screenplay "Contact Line" won Best Script at the Dubai International Film Festival 2017. Rawia Abdullah earned her bachelor's degree in Media Communications from the United Arab Emirates University, and she holds a master's degree in Filmmaking from École supérieure de réalisation Audiovisuelle in France.
