An Emirati passionate filmmaker. I'm a recent graduate of the American University in Dubai studying Digital Production and Storytelling. I have always loved films since I was a kid and loved the process of making them even more once I stepped into a film set for the first time. I believe that I am a hard working man who endures anything in his way. I also have good communication with the team that I work with, and that is something that I believe is a key element in making a good film. My goal here is to enhance my skills and make good films that movie goers and myself enjoy watching.
During my time at film school, I have worked on many small projects that enhanced my skills as a writer, producer, DP, and director. These films helped me become a more refined filmmaker overall. Because I have produced many short films, I had to take on multiple roles at the same time.Whilst doing all of these short films and documentaries at film school. I made sure to have a chance to experience what a professional film set is like. So I joined creative lab at Twofour54 and worked with Image Nation's projects such as (The Inheritance, Late Night with the Devil, King of the Ring, and Dune Part 2) as a camera trainee. These films taught me how to become a better DP and know how to coordinate with team members to achieve the desired look. Working with top tier DP's and learning from them has helped me a lot and made me have the skills to DP some of the short film that I have worked on.As a trainee, I have worked with cranes, dollys, and stunt men to achieve the directors vision. As well as working with camera's such as the Sony Venus, Arri mini Alexa, and Alexa 65. I had different responsibilities in different sets, sometimes I had to care of the equipment as a loader, sometimes I had to coordinate with the grips to operate the crane, and sometimes with the stunt men to hold the camera coming down a huge slope. I also had the chance to work with VFX and take the measurements for each camera in each shot on the camera sheet.
