I am an experienced Producer and Assistant Director with over a decade of hands-on experience in the MENA region, working on a diverse array of projects across feature films, documentaries, commercials, and TV series. Throughout my career, I’ve built a reputation for delivering successful projects from concept to completion, overseeing all aspects of production, from budgeting and scheduling to managing teams.As a First Assistant Director, I’ve coordinated complex logistics on internationally recognized films like Inshallah A Boy (Cannes 2023, Semaine de la Critique), Hajjan (TIFF 2023) and Cherien Dabis's All That's Left Of You (Sundance 2024). I have also worked as a documentary producer, currently leading an award winning documentary; My Sweet Land (Jordan's official submission for the 2025 Academy Awards).I hold a degree in Producing & Sound from the Red Sea Institute for Cinematic Arts (USC-affiliated) and have worked with leading international institutions such as National Geographic, Arte, Doha Film Institute, and IDA.
With over 10 years of experience in the film industry, I have developed a diverse skill set that spans both producing and assistant directing. My experience as a First Assistant Director includes overseeing large teams (up to 70+ crew members), coordinating intricate camera setups, handling complex SFX and stunt work, and managing tight shooting schedules under high-pressure conditions.In Hajjan, I worked closely with animal wranglers, stunt coordinators, and multiple camera units to ensure smooth execution, while Inshallah A Boy required a delicate and sensitive approach, especially when coordinating with child actors and managing emotionally charged scenes. These experiences have sharpened my ability to solve problems creatively and maintain a calm, focused demeanor under pressure.As a producer, I’ve been involved in all stages of production, from development to post-production, with a focus on securing financing, managing budgets, and building strong relationships with project partners such as Arte, ITVS, IDA and more.
