I am a Jordanian filmmaker celebrated for crafting evocative, character-driven narratives that merge complex emotions with universal appeal. With a Bachelor’s in Fine Arts, a minor in Psychology, and a Master’s degree from the New York Film Academy in Hollywood, my journey has spanned directing and developing content for global brands like ImageNation Abu Dhabi, MAC Cosmetics, Vogue Arabia, and Sesame Street.
My feature film, Daughters of Abdulrahman, marked a milestone in Arab cinema, winning six international audience awards, including the first Audience Award for a Jordanian film at the Cairo International Film Festival in 2021. My latest project, Boomah, starring Rakeen Saad, is in post-production and set for release in April 2025 through Netflix and Front Row Filmed Entertainment.
At the heart of my work lies a commitment to social relevance and emotional depth, tackling bold themes with vibrant realism. My expertise extends to mentoring and creative direction at ImageNation Abu Dhabi, where I have spent nearly a decade shaping the future of Arab cinema through the Arab Film Studio (AFS) program. Together with my team, I’ve guided culturally rich narratives from inception to the global film festival circuit, empowering a new wave of talent to realize their boldest visions.
