I am a 1st Assistant Director, with extensive experience also as a 2nd AD and 3rd AD, based in Colombo, Sri Lanka. My on-set experience spans a wide range of productions, from feature films and documentaries to television series and many TV commercials from various countries. Beyond the AD's department, I have also worked as Line Producer for a feature documentary (“The Genius of the Place: Geoffrey Bawa,” 2023) and have some experience in international productions as a Casting Director. This diverse background has equipped me with a strong, comprehensive understanding of the production pipeline, from pre-production through to completion.I have a proven track record of working effectively with both Sri Lankan and international crews. My collaborations include projects with filmmakers from the UK ('The Good Karma Hospital'), Canada (including the Academy Award-nominated Deepa Mehta on "Midnight's Children" and "Funny Boy"), India, Russia, Germany, the USA, and Australia.
I have been in the industry for 20 years, and have an excellent track record of running setsI am calm and collected on set, and pride myself in communicating clearly and with respect with all members of any crew. I also am well versed in using Movie Magic Scheduling - and have worked on many feature film schedules.
